Short Bio

Jolita Ralyté is Senior Researcher and Lecturer at the Institute of Information Services Science, University of Geneva, Switzerland. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Paris 1 – Sorbonne, France. The research areas of Jolita include Situational Method Engineering, Digital Transformation, Transdisciplinary Information Services and Systems, Exploratory and Contributory Approaches to Information Service Development, and Requirement Engineering. She co-authored a book on Situational Method Engineering (Springer 2014) and published her work in various international conferences and journals. Jolita is active in research coordination and organization of scientific events. Currently, she is Vice-Chair of the IFIP TC8 and was Chair of the IFIP WG 8.1 from 2016 to 2021. She serves in program committees and steering committees of many international conferences, and have been playing the role of General Chair (PoEM 2021, ME 2011), Program Chair (ER 2022, RCIS 2022, CAiSE 2012, RCIS 2016, PoEM 2015, IEEE CBI 2014, INFORSID 2014, ME 2007, IESS 2021), Doctoral Consortium Chair, etc. Jolita is on the editorial board of the International Journals Requirements Engineering, Business & Information Systems Engineering (BISE), Journal of Database Management (JDM), International Journal of Information Systems Modeling and Design (IJISMD) and International Journal of Information Systems in the Service Sector (IJSSS). She is also a regular reviewer and guest editor for a number of other international journals.
