"A mathematical model of Printing-Imaging Channel for the Authentication of Copy Detection Patterns"

Résumé :

The development and study of security frameworks for the protection of physical goods is paramount in our modern societies where goods are produced and shipped all over the globe. Questions regarding reliability of production chains, digital authentication and traceability are critical for the safe development of industries against product counterfeiting.

This defense will discuss the study and development of various models for the description of a security framework called the Copy Detection Pattern.

Summarizing six years of research, we will delve into the strengths and weaknesses of these model.

Our goal will be to discuss how the development of theoretical frameworks helps the producers to better fight against counterfeits and provide them with tools and guarantees to understand and detect powerful attacks.
