“Burds” Simulation

Introduction

This simulation implements the boids steering rules of Craig Reynolds - separation (avoid neighbours), alignment (average heading), and cohesion (keep close to center of mass). These simulations also include obstacle, predators avoidance and the possibility to follow a leader. The 3 steering rules as those for obstacle and predator avoidance can be activated or disactivated and the corresponding effect observed in the movies below.
