The main research is concentrated on
radar and radiometry imaging systems with high longitudinal and spatial
resolutions as well as on multisensor imaging systems.
The obtained high-resolution images
are used for object detection and classification.
To increase longitudinal and spatial
resolution the methods of applied spectral analysis and theory of inverse
ill-posed problem solution based on stochastic estimation and edge-preserving
regularization are mainly used.
The results of investigation are
applied to:
-
object recognition
-
navigation in difficult meteorology
conditions
-
non-destructive testing
-
ionosphere tomography
-
radioastronomy.
