Animations

to convert a set of tif files to a set of gif files:

              ~/bin/tif2gif filename

to produce a animated gif file form the set of gif files

              ~/bin/mygifmerge filename

It will produce a file called

            anim-filename.gif

which can be viewed with xanim unix command (/unige/ow3/bin/xanim). See also http://the-labs.com/Graphic/

To convert other types of file to another standard, modify

 ~/bin/tif2gif

To produce mpeg files or avi files, use Paint Shop Pro and save the animated gif as the desired standard.
