Le mode CBC (Cipher Block Chaining Mode)

Mode chaîné: on définit un bloc initial $y_0=IV$ (Initial Value) puis on chiffre avec $y_i=e_K(y_{i-1}\oplus x_i)$. De cette manière, tout bloc chiffré a une influence sur les blocs suivants. Changer un bloc $x_i$ ou $y_i$ perturbe tous les blocs chiffrés ou en clair suivants. Une erreur dans le texte chiffré empêche ainsi le déchiffrement de tous les blocs suivants.
