Hypertext Views of Databases

This project studies languages and systems to construct hypertextual views of databases. We examine different approaches to map database objects to hypertext components.

LAZY Language and Tools

The Lazy system is composed of:

a declarative language to define a hypertext structure (nodes and links) and the contents of each node (in terms of database elements);

a compiler to translate nodes and links definitions into database queries;

a node server to take node requests, execute the appropriate database queries, and return an HTML formatted node.
