Introduction to Windows 8 Store app development and the 2012 You Make IT Smart Campaign by Microsoft.
Abstract:
The Windows 8 Store has just opened for developers in late October. This speech will give you a technical introduction – no marketing - to Windows 8, show you the difference between classic Windows applications and the new store apps and how you can quickly get started writing your own Windows 8 store apps. We will also invite you to participate in our 2012 “You make IT smart” campaign in which we reward Students who submit Windows 8 apps with a brand new Windows 8 tablet.
