Abstract :

To mark its 60th anniversary, UNHCR collaborated with the Centre Universitaire d'Informatique (CUI) at University of Geneva to develop a project for the benefit of resettled refugees worldwide. The collaboration has led to setting up an online platform supporting the social network of resettled refugees. Registering into this online community is completely voluntary and restricted to those who have resettled or are descendants of those who resettled. Any refugee or former refugee who has resettled in a third country is welcome to register to join this online community – whether they were resettled today or when the UN refugee agency was founded more than six decades ago.

Registrants will now, more than ever, be able to share their life experiences, relate personal stories, contact and support each other, in particular those with less experience in the country of resettlement.
